Regional Specificities of the Oil and Gas Sector Development in Kazakhstan
The article investigates the ways to make the oil and gas complex of the Republic of Kazakhstan more competitive by forming regional clusters. We show which role this direction plays in increasing performance of oil companies and prove the need to create regional clusters based on the available raw material supplies, production and labor potentials

The Oil-and-Gas Complex in the Caspian Sea Region: Problems of the Interstate Economic Cooperation
The paper analyses cooperation of the oil-and-gas industries of the countries located in the Caspian Sea region, and describes the lines of oil and gas transportation and a role which oil companies play in implementation of the oil-and-gas projects. It also presents the author's recommendations on how to enhance the interstate oil-and-gas cooperation in the Caspian Sea region.

The oil-and-gas sector of Eastern Siberia and Russian Far East: perspectives of its development
The paper presents a concept of building new centers of oil, gas, gas-chemical and helium industry in Eastern Siberia and Russian Far East. A hydrocarbon base and the dynamics of the oil and gas produced in by the regions under study and different companies as well are described. We also assessed the parameters of how the processing and transportation infrastructures could develop, and what governmental support and conditions are required to implement such investment projects

We assess budgetary efficiency of a fuel and energy complex in the East of Russia. And we compare two sources of investments required for development of this complex – from budgets of all levels and taxes paid by the complex to relative budgets.
